  • Orange County Veterans & Military Families Collaborative (OCVMFC)

    Established in 2013, OCVMFC is the umbrella coalition of over 100 community organizations and facilitates access to comprehensive services for Orange County veterans, service members, and their families. In 2018, the OCVMFC was recognized by the Department of Veterans Affairs as the Community Veteran Engagement Board for Orange County.

    CalVet’s Veterans Resource Book provides an overview of the state and federal benefits and incentives to California veterans, eligibility, application process, as well as a directory of veteran service organizations.

  • Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System

    General homepage for VA Long Beach Healthcare System, including information for patients and visitors, scheduling an appointment, and how to receive care. The facility provides comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and extended care programs.

  • National Resource Directory

    The National Resource Directory connects veterans, active service members, families, and their caregivers to programs and services. The directory is managed and maintained by the Defense Health Agency's Recovery Coordination Program.

  • Orange County Veterans Service Office

    The OC Veterans Service Office helps connect veterans to available VA benefits. The office works in collaboration with nationally chartered veterans’ organizations, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and others to ensure veterans and their families receive what they have earned for their military service.

  • Department of Defense, Veterans Caregiver Resource Directory, 2019

    The Caregiver Resource Directory includes the most commonly referenced resources, organizations, agencies, and programs that provide support to the caregivers of wounded, ill, or injured service members. Its aim is to build public awareness and support for caregivers.

  • CalVet

    The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) serves California veterans by connecting them and their families with their earned benefits and services including education, employment, healthcare, housing, advocacy, and other direct services.

  • OC4Vets

    OC4Vets is a behavioral health program aimed at supporting military veterans and their families in accessing needed services including mental health resources, substance use disorder assistance, housing and employment support, case management and peer mentoring, court services, short-term counseling, and connections to community resources.     211 Orange County (211OC) is a local, private nonprofit that runs a comprehensive information and referral system for Orange County. 211OC provides a resource database of health and human services and support, accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online and through their multi-lingual hotline.
